Here’s a simple guide for cleaning teak furniture:

• Begin by rinsing your teak furniture with a hose set to a low or medium pressure. It's important to avoid high pressure, as it can damage the wood.
• Next, prepare a bucket of water and use a sponge or soft brush to gently scrub the furniture. Be sure to scrub along the grain, not against it, and pay attention to corners and crevices. If you're using a brush, apply light pressure to prevent harming the wood.
• After scrubbing, rinse the teak item with the hose again at a low or medium pressure.
• Finally, wipe the teak with a dry cloth and let it air dry naturally in sunlight whenever possible.

NATURAl RATTAN 

Cleaning your natural rattan furniture is simple!

• For routine cleaning, use your vacuum's brush attachment to clear dust from woven surfaces and crevices. If additional cleaning is needed, wipe the frame with a damp microfiber cloth to remove dirt buildup. For dried residues, a toothbrush or soft brush can help loosen them; allow the area to air-dry once clean.
• Ensure rattan furniture is thoroughly dried and avoid soaking it in water. If it becomes too wet, drying it in the sun is ideal. Rattan typically retains its shape, so be careful not to bend it while wet.
• Rattan, like other materials, can develop mold. Regardless of climate, humidity can expose your rattan to moisture. Treat mildew promptly using a strong bleach solution on affected areas and dry furniture outdoors immediately.
• Lift rather than drag rattan furniture to prevent fiber splitting.
